The piece conveys a sense of divinity, light, and transcendence, using broad design elements that present strong visual impact. The artwork evokes feelings of illumination as well, employing expansive design elements to create a bold and strong visual presence. My goal was to manage and harness broad design elements to make a powerful visual impact for the word’s meaning with its overall visual to be seen.

An illustrated self portrait of myself inspired from a picture taken of me before COVID19 was announced in the United States (2020). I created a polished, vectorized self-portrait that conveys a serious and calm mood. It emphasizes clean shapes, color harmony, and a composed, “standstill” vibe while staying true to my own physical features.

An illustration of a smiling sushi served on a plate. My goal was to design a vibrant color-coded 2D illustration, featuring a smiling piece of sushi on a plate. The illustration combines playful character design with clean, vector-based presentation. The sushi icon emphasized clean vector work for it to be engaging, approachable character design.

A black and white traced illustration of a vintage car, a 1994 Subaru Alcyone SVX, the shadow features, and the setting. I thoroughly traced the outside interior of the car with black and white shapes, as well as shedding value onto the precise areas of the vehicle. My goal was creating a detailed, high-contrast black-and-white traced rendering of the 1994 Subaru Alcyone SVX that accurately captures both the car’s form and the way light and shadow interact with it, while also situating it convincingly within its environment.

The poster's concept has the purpose of promoting an anime (Japanese cartoon series) music themed concert. The type helps spell out the details of what the concert is trying to promote. The mascot on the left is waving a baton (something to help conduct performers with). The other three mascots are present on top of the "2020" year date label that resonate with what the poster is trying to bring out. My aim was to craft a distinctive anime concert poster that fuses high visual and typography with effective playful character storytelling.

Alcohol Induced is a drinking card game that contains a blue deck of 15 cards and a red deck of 15 cards, a total of 30 cards. In the game, a “shot” is a small serving of alcohol that a player drinks as a penalty for refusing to answer a truth or complete a dare. The blue “truth” cards are written by the designer (a human), and the red “dare” cards are generated by ChatGPT. Before playing, both decks are shuffled to create a random order of red and blue cards. In a game with three players, each player has 10 cards from a random mix of 5 blue and 5 red cards they’ve individually picked. For a game with two players, each player receives 15 cards in their own triangle, with roughly 7 or 8 blue cards and 7 or 8 red cards, depending on who picks the last blue or red card. All cards must always remain faced down during play. On their turn, a player must choose a card from an opponent’s triangle, never their own. In a game with three players, two players must decide and agree on one card for the next player. If the opponent refuses to complete the prompt, they must take a shot, and the card is removed from their triangle. If the opponent completes the prompt, the card stays in their triangle and is returned face down. However, if it is chosen again in another round, they must take a shot. The winner is declared when they are the only player with any amount of cards left. In a game with three players, this happens when two players have no cards left. In a game with two players, the winner is the player who still has cards when the other player runs out. 
The red and blue color scheme is inspired by the red pill/blue pill idea from the film The Matrix, but the meaning is reinterpreted for this game. In Alcohol Induced, blue represents human-driven reflection while red represents AI-generated influenced actions. This flip on the original concept highlights giving players a decision between engaging with human insight, AI-driven challenges, or taking a shot to refuse either. The design is intentionally limited to these two colors, and the card backs feature AI-related icons in red alongside beer cups and bottles in blue, blending technology with drinking culture and human activity.
